I can walk! Happy New Year!

Hi Everyone!

Well, I'm getting pretty good at a new means of transportation. I'm walking. I'm still a bit shaky and truth be told, still prefer crawling, but I'm getting much better and more confident! What's really cool is that I can reach things now that I could not reach before because I'm more stable on my legs. I love reaching back into the kitchen cabinets (the lower ones still) and discovering lots of new things to play with. I've also been toying with the idea of pulling the lamp off of the end table--this does not make Mommy happy!

Well, I'll keep you posted on the walking front. As soon as Mommy and Daddy capture me walking on video, I'll be sure to post it.

I had a great New Years at Mimi and Papa's house. It actually was a late Christmas and birthday too. As hard as it is to have a late December birthday, I enjoyed all the gifts and all the parties! Thanks everyone for blessing me so much!!!!

Mimi and Papa bought me a sled for Christmas--I absolutely love being outside in it. Mommy and I have taken quite a few walks/rides since I got it. Aunt Susanne and Uncle Paul and the kids gave me a terrific snow suite for my birthday and that keeps me nice and toasty warm. Mommy and Daddy are very glad to be able to be out and about with me this winter (last year I was a bit too tiny to be playing in the snow).

My New Year's was a quiet one. Last year I made a few resolutions and I'm proud to say I achieved all of my last year's resolutions. This year my New Year's Resolutions are:

  1. Walk more than I crawl.
  2. Learn to obey Mommy and Daddy especially when they tell me not to touch the wood-burning stove.
  3. Increase my vocabulary (I'm at about 3 or 4 words right now--verbally).
  4. Continue to love life and be a joyful little boy!

Below are a few snapshots of the past two weeks or so. Enjoy!

Weeeee, I love going sledding!

Check out my snowman friends. My cousins Timmy and Sarah made these!

This was my birthday party with Daddy's family. It was at Great Aunt Pat and Great Uncle John's house. Mimi made my cool cake. It even had my name on it!!

Hey Opa, I found a loon to love at Mimi and Papa's!

This is me after my first haircut! Mommy did it!

Check out my new wheels!

Till next time! Love to everyone!
